Duxbury Co-Located Middle/High School

The town of Duxbury is currently constructing a new co-located middle and high school building scheduled to open in the fall of 2014. The building is one to three-stories in height and covers a footprint area of approximately 170,000 square feet. The project also includes an athletic field house, new athletic fields, new parking and access roads. MGA conducted subsurface investigations at the property and developed geotechnical recommendations for use in the design of foundations, pavements, and associated earthwork construction activities.

MGA’s comprehensive characterization of the subsurface conditions and practical approach during construction has allowed the earthwork contractor to reuse everything excavated on-site resulting in significant savings to the owner.
