Quincy High School

MGA was the geotechnical consultant for Quincy’s newly completed 368,000 s.f. 1500-student high school on Coddington Street. The project was completed in phases to replace two existing facilities constructed in 1924 and 1965. Designed by Symmes Maini & McKee Associates, MGA provided recommendations for supporting the new building on both spread footings (Phase I) and piles (Phase II). MGA also provided construction observation services and soil testing during earthwork, pile installation, and pile load testing.
